OSSETT Town have named Craig Elliott as the club’s new manager.
Elliott guided Glass Houghton Welfare to promotion from Northern Counties East League Division 1 last season and Town will be hoping he can continue his winning momentum at Stade France.
Town advertised the role of permanent manager at the end of the season after Eric Gilchrist finished the campaign as interim boss following the departure of Phil Sharpe.
And Elliott fits the bill for the Evo-Stik Division 1 North club, who issued a statement saying: “The Executive Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Elliott as first team manager. Craig last season guided Glass Houghton Welfare to promotion to the NCE Premier Division.
“We all wish Craig the best of luck in guiding Ossett Town to success.”
