ROCHDALE boss Keith Hill has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant manager’s job at Barnsley.
Hill was given permission to hold talks with the Tykes last week, but a statement on Rochdale’s official website has confirmed that the 42 year-old is to stay with the npower League One side.
Barnsley are looking for a manager to replace Mark Robins, who left Oakwell last week, but the club doesn’t expect to confirm an appointment until next week at the earliest.
Brian Laws, Kevin Blackwell, Danny Wilson, Phil Parkinson and Alan Irvine have also been linked with the role.
