WAKEFIELD FC will aim to lift themselves off the bottom of Evo-Stik League Division 1 North tonight when they welcome Warrington Town to Stade France (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Bears sit three points adrift of nearest rivals Cammell Laird and six points from safety with two games in-hand - making tonight’s game crucial in their battle against relegation.

Paul Lines’s men held Bamber Bridge to a 0-0 stalemate at the weekend and the Wakefield boss will be hoping his men can go one better tonight.

It’s busy night of action in the Evo-Stik League and Ossett Albion have the chance to leapfrog neighbours Ossett Town.

Albion, who won 3-1 at Harrogate Railway Athletic at the weekend, host struggling Prescot Cables, and will go above Town if they win and Eric Gilchrist’s men lose at Mossley (both kick-off at 7.45pm).
