Wakefield FC will be out to continue their winning start to the new Evo-Stik Premier League season when they host Mossley at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Bears kicked-off their Division 1 North campaign with an encouraging 1-0 victory at Radcliffe Borough on Saturday and boss Paul Lines will look for his men to secure back-to-back wins in their home opener.

Harrison Blakey’s second-half strike gave Wakefield all three points from Saturday’s season opener and a real shot in the arm going into tonight’s visit of another side from across the Pennines.

In contrast, Mossley did not get the start they wanted when they fell to a 3-1 home defeat against Kendal Town and will be keen to make amends tonight.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats members can watch tonight’s match for a reduced price of £5.

Ossett Town host Ramsbottom United at Ingfield as they look to get their season up and running (kick-off 7.45pm).

Craig Elliott’s side lost 3-2 at Prescot Cables on Saturday, with Jimmy Eyles netting both Town goals, and go up against a Ramsbottom side who also suffered defeat at the weekend, going down 3-1 at home against Curzon Ashton.

Ossett Albion are on their travels for the first time this season with a long trip to Kendal Town (kick-off 7.45pm).

Albion are also looking for their first points of the campaign after Bamber Bridge left Dimple Wells with a 3-2 win on Saturday.
