OSSETT Town continued their good cup form this season with a 3-1 victory over Belper Town in the Doodson Sport Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Craig Elliott’s men needed extra-time to progress at Stade France after Shane Kelsey had levelled a Karl Colley opener in normal time.
Jimmy Eyles fired the hosts ahead in the extra 30 minutes before Kelsey doubled his tally to ensure Town’s progression.
The victory continued Town’s impressive performances in knockout competitions this term after progressing to the first round of the FA Trophy and a date with Stockport County, as well as booking their place in the semi-finals of the West Riding County Cup.
