Coventry striker interests Leeds United

LEEDS United look set to bid for Coventry City livewire Michael Mifsud.

The Malta striker is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Coventry and is believed to be interesting Simon Grayson as a possible replacement for Jermaine Beckford.

The 27-year-old ended the season on loan at Barnsley and is listening to offers on where he will be playing next season.

Mifsud's free-agent status makes him an attractive proposition for a number of clubs, however, not just Leeds and he may prefer to stay in the Championship.
