Grella strikes twice as Leeds United Reserves win again
AMERICAN striker Mike Grella led the scoring as Leeds United Reserves won 4-0 at Grimsby Town tonight, Wednesday.
Grella opened the scoring with a long-range strike only five minutes into the game and the lead was doubled less then 10 minutes later when Jonny Webb fired home Peter Sweeney's corner.
Nathan Cartman combined well with David Prutton to score a third goal in the 72nd minute.
And the win was sealed with Grella's second goal nine minutes later.
It was another impressive display from Grella who scored a hat-trick in the Reserves' 4-0 win over Barnsley last month.
And United's second string have now won their last five games in the totesport.com League East.
