Leeds United Reserves one step away from league title
LEEDS United Reserves are now within one game of lifting the totesport.com League East Division title following a 1-0 win at Rotherham United today, Tuesday.
Liam Darville's goal early in the second half proved to be the match-winner at the Don Valley Stadium and Neil Thompson's team can now secure the championship with a victory in their final game of the season.
Leeds are now five points clear at the top of the table with nearest rivals Huddersfield Town in second place.
And the title will go to Leeds should they beat Rotherham once again - this time at Elland Road on Tuesday, April 28.
