Whitwell shines as Leeds United U18s see off Newcastle
TWO goals from striker Mike Whitwell helped Leeds United U18s to a good 3-0 win at Newcastle United.
Whitwell netted a goal in each half before substitute Sam Jerome made sure of the win with a third goal 10 minutes from time.
Leeds have won three of their last four games and they will get the chance to extend their unbeaten run when they welcome local rivals Barnsley to Thorp Arch on Saturday (11am).
