Diving sensation Alicia Blagg has won a silver medal in the World Series event in Beijing.
Wakefield-born Blagg, 16, teamed-up with Becky Gallantree in the springboard synchro and the City of Leeds duo built on the experience of finishing seventh in the London 2012 Olympics with an eye-catching result in China.
Blagg and Gallantree defeated world-class opposition to post a score of 305.79 and finish just behind Chinese pair Shi Tingmao and Wi Minxia.
The silver is the first World Series medal won by Blagg and Gallantree.
