Wakefield boxer Andy Townend is looking to make his first defence of the English Super Featherweight title when he goes up against Lee Glover on Saturday, September 5.
The 26-year-old is on the bill of Leeds boxer Josh Warrington’s fight with Joel Brunker with the Leeds man out to defend his WBC International and Commonwealth Featherweight titles.
Also on the bill at the First Direct Arena, in Leeds, is Gavin McDonnell who will defend his European Super Bantamweight title against Jeremy Parodi while Scotty Cardle will hope to defend his British Lightweight title for the first time.
New Matchroom Boxing recruit Callum Johnson is also fighting for only the 14th time in the paid ranks.
