SANDAL welcome Penrith to Milnthorpe Green today, Saturday, as they look to build on their thrilling 24-20 win at Burnage last week which moved them up to seventh place in National League 3 North.

The Cumbrian side sit three places and eight points behind Jim Kilfoyle’s men in tenth position, but will be looking for revenge as they were beaten by Sandal 40-21 back in October at Winters Park.

Sandal will be without full-back Tom Coad due to the injury which forced him to leave the field at Burnage.

He is expected to be out of action for a couple of weeks so Mark Pease, available from work commitments, takes over the no15 shirt.

Second row Rob Overton is fit again from the injury sustained at home to Chester at the end of October so makes a welcome return to the match day squad as does fellow pack member Austen Thompson.

Sandal (home to Penrith, kick-off 2.15pm): M Pease, S Lig, D McCormack, G Wood, D Martin, T Smith, G Newman, J Warwick, J Heron, R Norbury, A Norbury, J Riley, R Overton, A Thompson, J Stewart, S Maguire, T Hirst, J Ferguson.
