A HOST of former international players will be taking part in a special fund-raising game at Lymm RFC tomorrow, Saturday.
The game will raise funds for Lymm flanker Alex ‘Bosh’ Bennett, who sustained a serious spinal injury during last season’s league game at Sandal.
The fund-raiser between Bosh Legends, captained by Nick Easter, and the England Legends, led by Martin Corry, is in aid of the Alex Bennett Fund for Spinal Injury Charities, the RPA Benevolent Fund and the RFU Injured Players’ Foundation.
On receiving the injury, Bennett was taken to Wakefield’s Pinderfields Hospital before he was transferred to Leeds General Infirmary.
He is now receiving treatment at Southport Spinal Injury Unit.
