Second-half strikes seal victory for Durkar Juniors U14s

Two second-half goals steered Durkar Juniors U14s to a 2-0 success against Pinfold Pumas.

Pinfold started the quickest and could have scored in the first minute but for an excellent double save by Durkar keeper Jacob Barnes.

The first half was a tight affair and ended goalless.

Durkar upped the tempo for the second half and were quicker to the ball and this time it was the Pinfold keeper who pulled off several good saves.

Finally, Durkar pressure paid off and a good corner from Matthew Thomas was met at the back post by Matthew Clegg to head home.

Pinfold missed a couple of chances before a great cross from the right was again headed home at the back post this time by Dominic Young to secure the game 2-0 for Durkar. Stoneacre Dewsbury player of the match was Jerimiah Nyanzi.
