Frozen pitches force postponement of UniBond Premier League matches

OSSETT Town and Ossett Albion have seen their UniBond Premier League matches postponed tonight due to frozen pitches.

Town were set to host North Ferriby United in the Premier Division at Stade France, while Albion were in Division 1 North action against Harrogate Railway Athletic at the Warehouse Systems Stadium.

But afternoon pitch inspections by both clubs have resulted in the matches being postponed.

Heavy snowfall on Sunday and cold conditions this week have left the pitches in an unplayable condition.

Both matches will be rearranged and new dates will be published in the Wakefield Express as soon as they're confirmed.
