Jeffries out as Wakefield Wildcats prepare for Salford City Reds

WAKEFIELD Wildcats entertain Salford City Reds on Sunday but they will be without half-back Ben Jeffries who faces a month on the sidelines.

The 29 year-old was expected to shake off a leg injury in time for Sunday's Super League round seven game but a scan has revealed that Jeffries will need more time in the treatment room.

However, there are players returning to action and Wildcats head coach John Kear admits that his side will have to be at their best if they are to overcome Salford.
