Korkidas hoping Wakefield Wildcats can repay fans against Salford

MICHAEL Korkidas is hoping he and his Wakefield Wildcats team mates can make amends for their last showing on home soil when they host his former club Salford City Reds today (kick-off 3.30pm).

The prop forward was part of the Wildcats squad that fell to a 52-0 defeat against local rivals Huddersfield Giants in the last Super League match at the Hearwell Stadium.

The 29-year-old is keen to put that defeat firmly to bed and insists a good performance and two points against his former club in front of the Wildcats faithful will go a long way to doing just that.

"We want to get one back for our fans," he said.
