Ossett Albion face crucial double header in battle against relegation
RELEGATION-threatened Ossett Albion face arguably their toughest week of the season so far as they prepare for two vital games in the space of four days.
Eric Gilchrist's men travel to Mossley tomorrow (kick-off 3pm) before welcoming Harrogate Railway Athletic to the Warehouse Systems Stadium on Tuesday for a proverbial 'six pointer' at the bottom of the division (kick-off 7.45pm).
Albion will start the weekend in the bottom two after Railway Athletic leapfrogged them last weekend thanks to victories in their games in hand.
And they'll be desperate not to stay in the drop-zone for too long, with points at Lancashire side Mossley a must if they're to keep in-touch with their rivals.
What's set to be their biggest match of the season to date awaits on Tuesday night when no-less than three points will do against Harrogate.
Depending on the results at the weekend, victory for Albion in midweek could see them leapfrog their way out of the bottom two and put their fate in their own hands.
But Albion's focus will be firmly on mid-table Mossley tomorrow, and Gilchrist's men will be looking for a repeat of their 2-0 victory over the Lancastrians at Dimple Wells earlier this season.
