Ossett Town look to continue great escape against relegation rivals Matlock
OSSETT Town will look to continue their great escape from the UniBond Premier Division relegation spots against Matlock Town tonight.
Peter Daniel's men could climb out of the Premier Division's bottom two and move level on points with their Derbyshire opponents with three points at Stade France tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).
Town will be full of confidence following their first league victory in four months over basement side Durham City at the weekend.
And they'll be looking to make home form count again tonight with three points crucial against their relegation rivals.
Town could haul themselves out of the relegation places tonight should other results in the UniBond League's top flight go their way.
Neighbours Ossett Albion face a relegation 'six pointer' of their own with a trip to Salford City in Division 1 North (kick-off 7.45pm).
Eric Gilchrist's men sit just two points above the drop zone going into the game, with Harrogate Railway Athletic closing the gap at the weekend.
Salford are also in the mix and victory for the Warehouse Systems Stadium club would see them leapfrog their opponents in the table.
Albion fell to a 2-1 defeat at Warrington Town on Saturday and will be looking to bounce back in their most important league match of the season so far.
