Ossett Town aiming to bounce back from heavy Boston United defeat

OSSETT Town will be looking to bounce back from their crushing 7-0 weekend loss at Boston United when they travel to FC United of Manchester tomorrow (kick-off 7.45pm).

Peter Daniel's men suffered their heaviest defeat of the season against the high-flying Pilgrims on Saturday.

Anthony Church bagged a brace while further goals from Danny Davidson, Spencer Weir-Daley, Shaun Pearson, Marc Newsham and Danny Sleath completed a day to forget for Town in Lincolnshire.

It leaves the Stade France club in the thick of relegation trouble in the UniBond Premier Division and desperate for points to pull themselves away from trouble.

Town have the chance to offer a response tomorrow but their task will be no easier when they travel across the Pennines to face in-form FC United of Manchester.

United ran out out 2-1 winners at Stade France earlier in the season and Town will be keen to avoid a repeat of Saturday's confidence-sapping defeat at Boston.
