Sharpe set for Ossett Town home bow against Kendal Town

OSSETT Town boss Phil Sharpe will take charge of his first Evo-Stik Premier League game at Stade France when Kendal Town visit tonight (kick-off 7.45pm).

Sharpe took over at Town in the summer and guided his new-look squad to a creditable 3-3 draw at Hucknall Town on the opening day of the Premier Division season on Saturday.

And he'll be looking to kick-off the campaign on home soil in impressive style when pre-season promotion favourites Kendal visit Ossett.

In Division 1 North Wakefield FC also play their first home match of the season when they welcome Leigh Genesis to College Grove (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Bears fell to a 2-1 loss at Skelmersdale United on Saturday and will be keen to bounce back tonight.

Ossett Albion travel across the Pennines with a trip to Trafford tonight.
