Super League referee Ben Thaler to make 165ft bungee jump

Super League referee Ben Thaler has agreed to be the first person to take the plunge from the 165ft bungee jump that is to be erected in the Hearwell Stadium as part of the Wildcats and WiSCA Gala Day activities on Saturday, July 18.

In order to qualify for a FREE bungee jump, individuals must secure sponsorship for the Wildcats Community Trust (minimum sponsorship 100).

The height of the bungee is the equivalent of 12.5 double decker buses.

"I'm sure there wouldn't be a shortage of volunteers to push me off the top of the jump," joked Thaler.

"Thankfully that's not an option, but hopefully lots of people will still come down and help raise money for the Wildcats Community Trust which does a lot of great work and is a very worthwhile cause."
