Wakefield FC’s home clash with Warrington Town in doubt
Ossett Town ground
TONIGHT’S Evo-Stik Division 1 North clash between Wakefield FC and Warrington Town is in doubt due to the current cold snap.
The Bears will have a pitch inspection at their Stade France ground at 1.15pm today to check if the pitch is playable.
It’s unlikely to get the green light, however, with temperatures failing to improve from the weekend, when Ossett Town’s game against Skelmersdale United was called off at the same venue for a frozen pitch.
Should the game go ahead there could be returning debuts for Demetrios Kyriacou and Declan Normaschild, who have both returned to the club this week.
The game between Nostell Miners Welfare and Selby Town in the League Cup was postponed last night due to a frozen pitch at the Welfare Ground.
