Wakefield Wildcats thrash out deal for Hull KR star Cooke

WAKEFIELD Wildcats will announce the signing of Hull KR's Paul Cooke within the next few days should negotiations between the two clubs conclude successfully.

The signing of the 28-year-old playmaker is still to be finalised but Wildcats head coach John Kear believes that Cooke "will be one of our best players" if the deal goes through.
