Wakefield Wildcats youngsters Matthew Fox joins Dewsbury Rams
WAKEFIELD Wildcats youngster Matthew Fox has signed a permanent deal with Co-operative Championship side Dewsbury Rams.
The young centre enjoyed a short loan spell with the Rams last month but was recalled to Wakefield due to injury problems at Belle Vue.
But he hasn't featured in Wakefield's first-team plans since his return and his contract at the club has since expired.
And Dewsbury have wasted no time in securing Fox on a permanent contract.
Wildcats head coach John Kear said: "We'd like to thank Matthew for his contribution during his time with the Wildcats.
"We also believe that he could well have a future in Super League if he continues to make the same kind of progress he made during his time at our club."
