Wakefield Wildcats defeat Harlequins with Danny Brough conversion on final hooter
Wakefield Wildcats 20 Harlequins 18 WILDCATS denied lacklustre Harlequins a league 'double' with a dramatic last-gasp victory at the Hearwell Stadium on Sunday.
Danny Brough became the hero of the hour when his after-the-hooter conversion from the touch line side sailed between the uprights.
Brough had also been instrumental in creating the match-levelling try along with centre Sean Gleeson, scored by Scott Grix scant seconds before full-time.
Harlequins looked as if they'd secured victory with two second-half tries but it wasn't to be.
