Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ Chris Annakin has signed a one-year contract extension at the club.
Annakin, 25, who is a product of the Wildcats’ Academy has signed an extended contract that will keep him at Trinity until the end of 2017.
Annakin said: “I am very pleased to have signed the extension, it is nice to have the security behind me. To keep me here for another year is great especially because I have come up through the ranks at the club.
“[Head coach] Chris Chester has changed this squad around since coming in and we are now on a good run, he is making his plans for the future and it is nice to know that I am a part of it.”
Chester said: “It is important for the club that we have been able to secure another home grown talent such as Chris Annakin. Chris has been a good servant to the Wildcats for seven years and I am delighted that he has extended his contract for another 12 months.”
