FORMER Wakefield Trinity Wildcats first team coach Paul Broadbent has been named as an athlete mentor for the Sky Sports Living for Sport initiative.
Now in its ninth year, the free initiative delivered in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust, uses sport stars and sport skills to improve the lives of thousands of young people in secondary schools throughout the UK.
And ex-Great Britain rugby league star Broadbent will represent Sky Sports Living for Sport in the Yorkshire and Humber regions, visiting secondary schools to inspire and motivate pupils to apply the life lessons they’ve learned through sport to all aspects of their lives.
Broadbent is one of 13 sports stars to join the existing mentor team, which is headed by Olympic sprinter Darren Campbell.
