Former Wakefield Wildcats star Betham to play in Christchurch earthquake charity match

FORMER Wakefield Trinity Wildcats star Monty Betham is set to play in a Christchurch earthquake charity rugby league match on Thursday.

The 32 year-old will line-up alongside fellow Kiwis and Australians in the star-studded Legends of League Charity Match that will be played in Auckland to support those affected by the Christchurch earthquake.

Betham will be joined by New Zealand greats including Tawera Nikau, Olsen Filipaina, Kurt Sorensen, Stacey Jones and Reuben Wiki while the Australian contingent will include Mario Fenech and David Peachey.
