WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats are facing fresh injury worries ahead of their trip to Hull KR in round 20 of Super League XVI on Sunday.

Trinity are desperate to get back to winning ways following their disappointing 52-18 loss at home to Hull FC last weekend but they will be without skipper Glenn Morrison who underwent surgery for a fractured finger and tendon damage on Wednesday.

Wildcats head coach John Kear hopes to see his captain return for the “final four or five games of the season.”

Gareth Moore will miss the Hull KR clash having suffered a hamstring injury and he will also be doubtful for the round 21 game at home to St Helens on July 10.

Aaron Murphy and Paul Johnson are doubts for the game at Craven Park as is Jarrad Hickey who has a leg infection. All three players will face late fitness tests before Kear announces his squad.
