Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are targeting at least five new signings and have two NRL players in their sights, according to chairman Michael Carter.
In a three-page Trinity special in this week’s Wakefield Express, Carter reveals his plans to rebuild the squad for next season’s crucial Super League campaign.
He said: “We are looking at a couple in the NRL. Probably not first-grade, 28 games-a-season players, but players with NRL experience. We are hopeful that there will be some movement very shortly on at least one of them.”
