Bill Tupou will remain a Wakefield Trinity Wildcats player for 2016 after signing a new contract at the club.
Tupou, who has signed a one-year contract, joined the Wildcats in June from NRL side Canberra Raiders until the end of the 2015 season.
The centre was one of head coach Brian Smith’s 10 signings and has been a regular feature in the 17-man squad since.
Tupou said: “I’m very happy to have signed for a year here at Wakefield, it is a great time to be at the club.
“It is fascinating to be working under Brian Smith, I learnt so much from him in the short space of time last season and I am looking forward to continuing the learning process.”
Brian Smith added: “Bill Tupou settled quickly into our team mid-season, largely based on his powerhouse running of the ball.
“With more time together with his teammates in preparation, we are likely to have an even bigger and stronger series of performances from Bill.”
