WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats have beaten the target of recruiting 2,500 subscribers to their new membership scheme.
The club reached the milestone on Friday afternoon, 24 hours before the deadline, when it was announced that a total of 2,952 fans had signed-up for the scheme.
Wildcats season ticket prices will now be fixed at £100 for adults, £80 for concessions and £20 for juniors until December 1 when they will revert back to the full price of £200 for adults, £120 for concessions and £20 for juniors.
Should the club recruit 4,000 members by December 1, all fans who have purchased season tickets will be entered into a draw to win a Wildcats Weekend to France.
The winner of the draw, and a friend, will join the Wildcats first team and directors in the trip to Perpignan to watch Wakefield take on Catalan Dragons.
The winner will receive two tickets on the flight with the players, top class hotel accommodation in France and executive tickets to watch the game with Trinity chairman Andrew Glover and chief executive James Elston.
A split payment method is still available to those wishing to buy tickets, where half of the amount is paid in October and the other half in November.
