Prop Taulima Tautai will leave Wakefield Trinity Wildcats to sign for Wigan Warriors at the end of the current First Utility Super League season.
Tautai signed for the Wildcats ahead of the 2013 Magic Weekend and has since played 14 Super League games in the red, white and blue.
The former Parramatta Eel is contracted until the end of the 2014 campaign and was offered a new deal to extend his stay beyond that time but has chosen to pen a three-year deal with the Super League champions.
Tautai said: “I am excited for the opportunity of becoming a Wigan Warrior in 2015. I am looking forward to improving as a player and growing as part of their team.
“I am very impressed with Wigan and feel that this is the right step forward for me in my life and career.
“Although I am grateful for this move I would not be in this position if it wasn’t for Richard Agar believing in me and giving me my first chance in Super League. My focus for the rest of the 2014 season will be to return from injury and put my energy into the success of my current team, Wakefield Wildcats.”
