WAKEFIELD Trinity Wildcats community and youth development teams are hosting a ‘be a pro for a day’ event at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Tuesday, October 25.
Youngsters taking part will get a glimpse of what it means to be a full-time professional player with activities including a training session on the pitch, gym techniques, video analysis and performance critique, information on rehabilitation and injury prevention and a discussion on how to become an elite player by progressing through the elite player pathway.
There will be sessions led by Wildcats head of youth performance Tony Drury, player performance manager John Kain and first team physio Simon Wray.
The day is open to anyone in the under-14s age group (School Year 9) and is free but places are limited, so early bookings are recommended.
For more information and to book contact Richard Cattley at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the community department on 01924 211611.
