SANDAL RUFC first team will need to avoid complacency when National League 3 North’s bottom side Beverley make the trip to Milnthorpe Green today, Saturday.

The Beaver Park outfit have won only two matches so far this season and Sandal go into the game on the back of their 11-10 success at Altrincham last week.

However, Beverley have the better record between the sides and Jim Kilfoyle’s men have failed to beat the East Yorkshire club in five meetings.

Centre Dan McCormack is absent because of a hamstring injury but Mark Pease and Tom Coad return from work commitments and injury respectively to fill the centre berths.

Winger Stef Lig and flanker Sean Maguire also return after injury while flanker Alastair Burgess is scheduled to make a welcome second appearance of the season.

Sandal: T Hodson, A Orr, M Pease, T Coad, D Martin, S Lig, G Wood, G Newman, L Norbury, J Heron, R Norbury, A Norbury, T Proctor, A Thompson, S Maguire, J Stewart, A Burgess, J Ferguson.
