SANDAL coach Jim Kilfoyle will be content with his side’s 25-5 win over West Hartlepool in their opening National League 3 North game last weekend but will be hoping to see signs of improvement when Darlington Mowden Park visit Milnthorpe Green today, Saturday.
Sandal were certainly not at their best last weekend but did just about enough and debutant full-back Mark Pease bagged five penalties in an impressive personal display.
Mowden completed the double over Sandal last season and finished in fifth place in the league, three points and three places higher than Kilfoyle’s men.
It will be a tough test for Sandal who have been dogged by injuries over the summer.
Winger Alex Orr is back from holiday but flanker Alastair Burgess has returned to London.
Stef Lig reverts to the back row while number eight Sam Whittingham and flanker Tom Hirst both return from unavailability.
Prop Adam Kemsley, previously with Otley, will make his first appearance in the match day squad.
