Wakefield Trinity Wildcats chairman Michael Carter and Trinity mascot Daddy Cool were among the special guests at Crigglestone All Blacks’ relaunch event on Saturday.

Former All Blacks players, sponsors and local councillors were also present at the event that coincided with Crigglestone’s BARLA National Cup first round clash with Illingworth.

Wildcats stars Jarrod Sammut and Jordan Crowther signed autographs and new draught beers later and ciders, supplied by Clark’s Brewery, were on tap in the clubhouse.

There was disappointment on the pitch however as Illingworth inflicted a 34-14 loss on the gallant hosts.
