Wakefield Trinity Wildcats head coach Brian Smith has made three changes to his squad ahead of the trip to Leigh Centurions in the Super 8s Qualifiers on Saturday.

Injuries have ruled out Richard Owen and Scott Moore for the remainder of the season while Andy Yates misses out on selection.

Chris Riley, Pita Godinet and Ali Lauitiiti have all been included in the 19-man squad.

Smith said, “Scott Moore ruptured his bicep in training the day before the game last weekend, he will be out for three months or so with that.

“We are fortunate to be able to bring in Riley, Godinet and Lauitiiti into selection to boost the squad.

“I think everybody had a bit of mixed feelings of elation and a sort of relief of getting the job done last weekend [against Bradford Bulls].

“We anticipated a really tough game against Bradford and in part they certainly did that to us.”

The Wildcats’ 19-man squad is: Scott Anderson, Joe Arundel, Matty Ashurst, Pita Godinet, Ali Lauitiiti, Reece Lyne, Jacob Miller, Jon Molloy, Anthony Mullally, Chris Riley, Nick Scruton, Mickael Simon, Michael Sio, Lee Smith, Tim Smith, Jordan Tansey, Bill Tupou, Anthony Walker, Danny Washbrook.
