Athletics teams from schools in Ossett, Kettlethorpe, Sandal, Ackworth and Wrenthorpe will be amongst teams involved in the 13th games, which will be the biggest yet.

The games take place on Wednesday and sports teams will compete in athletics, boccia, new age kurling, tag rugby, tennis, badminton, gymnastics, cheerleading, cricket and netball.
Nigel Harrison, director of West Yorkshire Sport said: “These games are the sporting highlight for hundreds of young athletes across the five districts and are often the first time many of them will taste the excitement of a major event.”
