WAKEFIELD Wildcats forward Ali Lauitiiti will miss next Monday’s Super League clash with former club Leeds Rhinos through suspension.
The 33-year-old submitted an early guilty plea to the RFL Disciplinary Committee after being charged with the use of his knees in a tackle on Huddersfield Giants player Leroy Cudjoe at the weekend.
It means Lauitiiti, who spent seven successful years at Headingley Carnegie, will miss out on the chance to face his former club at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Monday.
But Rhinos half-back Danny McGuire will also miss the match through suspension.
McGuire was found guilty of making dangerous contact with Bradford Bulls player Brett Kearney when the sides met at Headingley on Friday night.
He was also fined £300 after pleading not guilty to the Grade B offence at a RFL Disciplinary Committee hearing.
