Full-back Richard Mathers has returned to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ 19-man squad to face Hull FC in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup fifth round on Friday night.
Mathers has been absent since suffering an ankle injury and a ruptured testicle in Wakefield’s defeat at Wigan Warriors last month and has missed three Super League rounds and Wildcats’ victory over Hemel Stags in the last cup clash.
Paul Sykes drops out of Richard Agar’s squad for the trip to the KC Stadium, while there will be no return to face his former club for Reece Lyne, who is replaced by Matty Wildie.
Former Wildcat Gareth Ellis is set to feature for the Black and Whites as head coach Peter Gentle makes one change to the side that beat London Broncos. Jason Crookes replaces former Castleford Tigers man Joe Westerman, who suffered a hand injury last time out.
Wildcats 19-man squad: Mathers, Fox, Collis, L Smith, Cockayne, T Smith, Poore, Aiton, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Kirmond, Washbrook, Wood, Amor, Wilkes, Mellars, Wildie, Annakin, Molloy.
