Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have confirmed their home match against Leeds Rhinos will be played on Wednesday, July 31 (kick-off 8pm) at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
The Round 8 clash was originally due to be contested on Friday, March 22 but was postponed due to heavy snowfall. Attempts to get the game played on the same weekend by moving the fixture back two days also fell victim of the weather.
The new date will mean the West Yorkshire rivals will meet each other twice in less than a fortnight, with Richard Agar’s men visiting Headingley on Friday, July 19.
It will potentially come just after a Challenge Cup semi-final clash for either or both sides, while Wakefield host Bradford Bulls at home four days later.
All tickets purchased for the original date will still be valid for the rearranged match and any supporter who cannot attend the new date can either get a full refund or exchange the ticket for another Super League match of their choice.
