Wildcats humbled by Hull Kingston Rovers
Hull KR 48 Wakefield Wildcats 12 WILDCATS came off second-best in their Academy U20 Championship mid-table clash at Hull Kingston Rovers at the weekend.
Wakefield, fifth in the table with one win from three outings, trailed 28-0 at half-time.
And though they pegged a couple of tries back in the second half through Matt Wildie the travellers had left themselves too much of a mountain to climb.
It was Rovers' first success of the campaign, taking them to seventh in the table after two outings.
