Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed Huddersfield Giants forward Jacob Fairbank on a one-month loan deal.
Fairbank, 24, has made 20 Super League appearances in all having previously spent time on loan at London Broncos and Bradford Bulls.
He has also featured for Batley Bulldogs on dual-registration.
Wildcats head coach Richard Agar said: “We’ve been in a little bit of a period where we’ve picked some injuries up and we’ve got some guys who are getting back to match fitness.
“We felt that it will boost our ranks in the middle of the field, initially for a month.
“He’s got a terrific engine so we think he’ll boost our squad and cover one or two issues we’ve got with injuries and fitness.”
Fairbank is expected to go straight into the 19-man squad for Sunday’s game at Hull FC.
