Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed Warrington Wolves winger Chris Riley on a month’s loan and the 26-year-old is in the hosts’ 19-man squad for today’s Super League clash with Catalan Dragons.
Riley has played just the one game so far this season against St Helens in round one but has scored 120 tries in 180 appearances in all for the Wolves.
Wildcats boss Richard Agar is currently without the suspended Dean Collis and injured Jimmy Keinhorst so welcomed the addition of Riley to his squad.
“We have injuries and suspensions in the backs so his experience will really help us out over the next month and he will bring a lot of energy to our team,” said Agar.
Meanwhile, Harry Siejka is still to arrive in the country after enduring flight delays.
He was due to arrive on Thursday afternoon but it is now anticipated he will arrive on Saturday.
