PEDAL power helped teachers in Crofton give school funds a boost.

Staff at Crofton Junior School cycled 140 kilometres on an exercise bike as part of a fundraising activity day last Friday.
The £400 raised will help cover the travel costs of recent trips made by the school band Funky Fusion, which braved an audition in front of Simon Cowell for Britain's Got Talent in Manchester earlier this month, and a trip to Sheffield Arena by the school choir.
Pupils also got to work up a sweat on the day with a range of fun-packed sporting activities and more restful activities including an auction.
