MICHAEL Korkidas, the former Wakefield Wildcats prop, has been released from his Castleford Tigers contract a year early.
The 27-year-old joined the Tigers ahead of the 2008 season from Salford City Reds and still had a another year to run on his contract.

Korki scored one try in 22 appearances for the Tigers in Super League XIII.

He was rubbish, never broke a sweat, a man mountain with a heart the size of a pea, he should go back to Wakey they'll be playing National League soon when they get chucked out of Super League. That standard should suit him pretty well.
