SEVERAL senior stars will be in action tonight, Wednesday, when Leeds United Reserves take on Newcastle United Reserves at York City's KitKat Crescent.
With no first team game this weekend, Leeds are using the reserve game as a useful run-out before a return to League One action at Brighton on Saturday, November 21.
Andy Robinson, Enoch Showunmi, David Prutton and Alan Sheehan will provide valuable experience as unbeaten Leeds continue their defence of the totesport.com League East Division title.
The Magpies have not been in competitive action since their 4-2 defeat at Rotherham United four weeks ago and they are also set to field a strong line-up.
Nile Ranger, Kazenga LuaLua, Ryan Donaldson and Ben Tozer are all expected to play as Newcastle target a return to winning ways.
