DALE Ferris' 12-point haul guided Sharlston Rovers to a 20-0 victory over Hunslet Warriors in the BARLA Yorkshire Cup final.
Rovers dominated the scoreboard at Featherstone Rovers' Chris Moyles Stadium from the 10th minute when Carl Saville crossed for the opening try and Ferris goaled.

Ferris went over for an unconverted try of his own on 33 minutes and the lead was extended to 16-0 four minutes later when Gareth Davies touched-down and Ferris kicked his second goal of the game.

Rovers' defence held strong in the second half and Ferris wrapped up the scoring with two penalties on 61 and 72 minutes. Sharlston's Carl Saville was the man of the match.

The impressive victory for Gordy Long's team sets-up a Carnegie Challenge Cup first round tie at NCL Division Two side Crosfields at the end of January.
